Monthly Art tours

Thanks to the support of the Hamilton Creative Communities scheme, I am excited to announce that I will be hosting monthly art tours for the next year.

My aim is to make art accessible to everyone, especially those who may feel a bit shy, nervous, or curious about viewing art. I understand that attending venues and exhibitions can be daunting, so using my experience working with people and my background in art education, I will lead you in a relaxed and friendly manner around two exhibitions each month.

As a freelance art teacher and a support worker for people with disabilities, ensuring accessibility for all participants is a top priority for me. I encourage you to reach out with any questions (no question is too silly!), and I am committed to making it easy for you to attend.

Here's how the day's schedule unfolds:

  • No pre-booking required.

  • Please bring a gold coin donation for Lee, your guide.

  • 22nd APRIL - Meet outside ArtsPost, 120 Victoria St, Hamilton, at 10-11am. We will tour the current exhibition, with the tour concluding at 11am. You are welcome to leave earlier or take breaks as needed.

  • Feel free to bring a support person (or parent) Kids are not to come alone. And again, please don't hesitate to ask questions!

I hope this information helps, and if you have any more questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
