When tutoring, my main goal is to empower students to explore their own love of art by assisting them in discovering practices of media, methods, and subject matter that ignite their passion. For those who aren’t certain about their preferences, I introduce them to a range of disciplines and let their inclinations guide our direction.
In welcoming a new student, I offer a complimentary initial consultation session to familiarize myself with their artistic interests. This allows me to suggest suitable areas of focus for our lessons, determine an ideal timeframe, and establish a tutoring schedule.
As a practicing artist with a Degree in Visual Arts and a certificate in tertiary and adult education, I draw upon 7 years of teaching experience. Throughout this time, I've had the opportunity to work with toddlers, children, teens, adults, and students of all ages, including those with various disabilities.

It is important to me that people with disabilities are able to join my workshops. The studio is flat and accessible for mobility aids. The bathroom is large enough for a wheelchair but does not have railings for the toilet. There is space for students to sit quietly away from others if needed. Support people are welcome to attend. I would like to make this accessible for you. Please contact me if I can help to put your mind at ease, answer any questions or get to know your particular needs.
